Our Hair Removal Pricing
If you are pregnant, taking birth control, hormone replacements, acne medications or antibiotics – Your skin may be more sensitive.
If you are a smoker or have rosacea – Waxing may irritate dilated capillaries (weak or broken blood vessels). If the capillaries are very red, removing hair in that area will further irritate it.
If you are currently taking blood thinners, have diabetes or phlebitis – it is recommended that you receive your doctor’s approval first.
If you use powerful exfoliators on your skin (such as glycolic and salicylic acids,) these compounds strip cells from the skin and make the skin thinner. Waxing, which is another form of exfoliation, could potentially make skin red, bleed, and rip.
If you recently consumed a large amount of caffeine or alcohol – The compounds associated with these beverages may cause the skin to become extra sensitive, cause water retention and subsequently leave skin more red or inflamed.
If you have had a lot of sun exposure, please wait until your skin has repaired to avoid further damage.
